A showcase for farming’s new science and tech

CFAES’s 2016 Farm Science Review trade show is Sept. 20-22 at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center in London, about 25 miles west of Columbus. The big event gives attendees a chance to see the latest innovations in agriculture and to talk with experts from industry and from CFAES, including scientists funded by OARDC.

“Visitors to FSR will be able to learn new techniques and strategies to improve their farming operations’ bottom line,” said the Review’s assistant manager, Matt Sullivan. “Right now is a challenging time in agriculture with low commodity prices, so farmers and producers of all sizes will be able to come and learn about new programs and ideas to improve their farming operations.”

  • Other numbers: CFAES experts alone will offer about 180 educational talks, Q-and-As, field demonstrations and more.
  • Some 630 commercial exhibitors will be there. They’ll represent more than 4,000 product lines.
  • Expected total attendance is more than 110,000 people. That’s more than fit in Ohio Stadium.
