Postdoc Orientation: The Essentials at James Cancer Hospital

All recently hired postdoctoral scholars, and anyone interested in learning more about the postdoc experience, are welcome to attend this program. This session will introduce you to the most important things you need to know as you pursue your postdoctoral training.

Participants will receive information and resources about the Postdoctoral Advisory Council and the Postdoctoral Association at Ohio State, and have the opportunity to participate in an interactive workshop.

Interactive panel discussions will feature:

  • advice from successful postdocs; panelists will share strategies for getting the most out of your postdoc experience
  • understanding roles and responsibilities of postdocs from the PI point of view
