"A Real Team Effort"

The arrival of Dr. Dan Herms, Associate Professor, Entomology to the OARDC family in 1996, brought one of the more interesting projects that we have worked on.  One of Dan's major research projects involved the installation of a series of 80" x 80" plastic cells which, when in place, isolated whatever was planted inside from the surrounding soil.  Throughout the installation, a wide assortment of help was "volunteered" from three different Departments:  Entomolgy, Grounds, & Facilities Services.  Though the work was hard, so was the fun, and it's safe to say that a good time was had by all involved in the project.
