Directions to OARDC/OSU

If you would like to do your own direction search, the main address for the OARDC is 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster, OH 44691.

From the south, I-75 through Cincinnati, then I-71 North.
From the west,  take I-74 to I-70 to Columbus, 270 around Columbus, I-71 North.  

From Columbus, take I-71 North, about 1 hour (~60 miles) to the second Mansfield exit (Route 30, Wooster exit). Take the Route 30 Mansfield exit east towards Wooster. After about 30 miles on Route 30, take the second Wooster exit which is Madison Ave. There will be an OARDC sign on Route 30 showing the exit.

From Cleveland airport to Wooster, take Interstate 71 South from the airport. The Route 83 (Wooster exit) exit is about 40 miles from the airport. Make a left on the Route 83 exit. Route 83 will take you through a small town called Burbank and then to Wooster. Wooster is about 15 miles from I-71. Once you get to town (there is a strip mall with a Wal-Mart on the left), take Route 3/Route 83 around the city. (These directions are different due to construction until Spring 2006) Continue on the bypass until it ends and turn left onto Madison Ave. Continue for a half mile - you will pass an elementary school on the left and ATI on the right. The OARDC is past the first stoplight on the right and it marked well with a large sign.

From the Canton/Akron airport, take Interstate 77 South to Route 30 West. Follow Route 30 West to Wooster (30 miles) and take the Madison Ave exit.

To get to the OARDC from route 30, go left on Madison Ave and the OARDC is about one half mile up the hill on the left .

Once you are on the OARDC Campus, to get to the FinerLab, turn into the main OARDC entrance and take a left on Payne Drive. Make a right on Thorne Road. Williams Hall is the second building on the right and the parking lot is behind the building. Park anywhere - permits are not required. For a map of the OARDC campus click here.

John Finer's office is 214 Williams Hall and the lab is 225-226 Williams Hall, which is across the hall from the office.
