Agenda for NESC Meeting
August 5-6, 2003
Wooster campus, OARDC-OSU

It's time once again for the NorthEast Soy Center to meet. 

We will again meet at the Wooster campus of OSU-OARDC, starting at 5:30 Tuesday, August 5, with a dinner. We will then meet from 8 till mid-afternoon on August 6 at the Fisher Auditorium.

On our agenda this time will be:

• A presentation by Cliff Meeuwsen of Zeeland Farm Services and Zeeland Farm Soya on needs of the processing industry;
• A brainstorming session to consider how we might help producers better meet those needs.
• Discussions and planning for our existing projects (the edamame proposals and the grower survey)

If you plan to attend, please do two things:

(1) let me know of your plans by return e-mail;

(2) if you are coming from out of town, please call the Best Western

Hotel at 330-264-7750 to reserve one of the rooms that Ron Fioritto has reserved.

As with the March meeting, our meeting expenses will be provided by the

soybean checkoff boards in our 5 states. We thank them and invite them to

send a representative.
