2009-01-29 - OIT Planned Wireless Maintenance Notification

This is a planned OSU Wireless maintenance notice from OIT.

Official statement:
OIT will be using the network maintenance window, Sunday, February 1, 2009, from 12:01 AM to 3:00 AM, to upgrade the wireless (OSU Wireless) network infrastructure that serves administrative and residential areas in the following Ohio State locations:

- All Columbus Campus (EXCEPTIONS: College of Business and OSU Medical Center will not be affected.)
- South Campus Gateway
- Urban Arts Center
- 1114 Chambers Rd.
- OSU Golf Course
- Mansfield Campus
- Newark Campus
- Wooster OARDC Campus

During the maintenance window, wireless access will be intermittently unavailable in these university locations. Wireless access should be fully restored upon completion of the maintenance; however, customers may need to log back into access the wireless network. Questions about this planned maintenance should be directed to OIT at 688-HELP.
