2009-01-26 - Power Outage and Computers 1/27/2009

Please remember to turn off computers and UPS units before going home on Monday (today) to protect them from the planned power outage Tuesday morning.  Please note that the revised plan INCLUDES Shisler, Fisher, and ATI (for tree trimming) from 7am until 7:30am.  To prevent damage, all computers and UPS units should be shut down.

To protect the network backbone, IT will be shutting down network equipment on campus beginning at 6am.  Centralized web and file servers are backed up by generated power and will remain active during this time.
