Network outages 6/26/2009
Due to the lightning storm of 6/25, there was some local damage to network equipment, but that has been repaired.
On the other hand, power problems on main campus have had much of campus without power including connections to email and other servers. This from OIT:

> of KRC. Backup power came up immediately and the rest followed
> shortly. OIT is bringing up services now in an ordered fashion. This
> will take some time (and I didn't think to ask how long).

> campus that were still without power.

> Classrooms and computing labs are up and operational (authentication et

> Phone system on campus and voice mail are reported to be OK.
