PAST RESEARCH:   1.  Dynamics of the woodland herbaceous layer following honeysuckle removal (Claire Earnhart, University of Dayton student research intern).    2.  The invasion dynamics of Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) after the removal of the invasive shrub, bush honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii) at the Mount St. John Preserve. (Shannon R. Felkey, student research intern).

FUTURE RESEARCH:   1. Fall foliar 1% Roundup bush honeysuckle spraying effectiveness compared to other removal methods.   2.Long term research of herb and tree succession in bush honeysuckle removal areas.   3. Effective control of non-native garlic mustard.
