Take this opportunity to dispose of old chemicals, solvents, batteries and
other waste products in your lab / storage areas. (Note: Please do
not bring waste in red or orange bags) If you have any questions, please contact the Safety Office. |

Battery Disposal Policy |
|
Do not throw old/used alkaline AA, AAA, C, D, 9 volt, lantern, gel cells, nicads, silver cell and lithium batteries in the trash. Please collect batteries as a department and bring them to Pounden Hall for disposal as hazardous waste. Contact the garage for disposal of automotive batteries (lead acid) this includes some UPS batteries. |
