Universal Waste Collection

Collections of universal waste are conducted on a continuous basis and are for waste generated by the Wooster Campus.  The universal waste collection point is located at the Old Dairy Barn on Dover Rd.  For questions or concerns contact Facilities Services @ 3915.

Universal waste consist of:  electronics such as, computer monitors, PC's, printers, etc.  these items are to be transported to the UW site for proper disposal. 

 

Battery Disposal Policy


 

Do not throw old/used alkaline AA, AAA, C, D, 9-volt, lantern, gel cells, Ni-Cads, silver cell and lithium batteries in the trash but take to the hazardous waste collection site.

Automotive batteries (lead acid) including some UPS batteries: please contact the automotive garage for disposal protocol.
