Welcome to the Agronomic Crops Insects web site from The Ohio State University Extension Entomology Department.

This site contains reference information about insects commonly found on field crops in Ohio, including insecticides that are labeled for the various pests.  Fact sheets on most of the common agronomic insects can be obtained from this site. The site also contains a link to C.O.R.N., the Crop Observation & Recommendation Network newsletter, a weekly letter that has up-to-date information about insect problems in corn, soybeans, alfalfa and wheat, as well as links to other sites of interest.

We have also provided links to newsletters from neighboring states.  Often times insects problems that occur in Ohio are related to what is occuring in surrounding areas.  We urge readers to also visit those sites on a weekly basis.
